In China, science is becoming more popular, but not everyone has the time, access, or language skills to dive into academic papers—especially in English. That’s where popular science media step in, translating research and making it more accessible. I’m part of this movement, contributing to well-known platforms like Neureality and NextQuestion. I’ve helped translate fascinating articles and written original pieces, mainly on brain-machine interfaces, AI, and neuroscience.
Cooking

I love food—eating it, cooking it, and convincing others to eat way more than they planned. Since I love to eat, naturally, I had to learn to cook (otherwise, I’d be broke). I cook almost every day, experimenting with both classic and totally made-up dishes. Some turn out amazing, some… well, let’s just call them “learning experiences.” One day, when life is less hectic, I dream of opening a restaurant, mainly so I can keep feeding people and call it a business!
Badminton

I’ve been playing badminton since my kindergarten days. I trained a bit but quickly realized that the athlete life was way too intense for me. I’ll leave the hardcore competition to the pros! What I love most is the game itself and the people I meet on the court. Out there, it doesn’t matter who you are during the day, on the court, we’re all just players, chasing the shuttlecock and having a great time.
Cycling

I got into biking during my exchange in Atlanta, thanks to my roommate, who just happened to be a mountain biking champion there. My philosophy on transportation is simple: walking is too slow, running is too exhausting, and driving is too fast—you miss all the good views. But cycling? It’s just right.
Travelling

Thanks to my parents, I got to travel to many places. They took me everywhere whenever they had the chance. They always believed that “traveling thousand miles is better than reading thousand books.” Now that I’m grown up, I’ve kept that spirit alive, exploring the world whenever I can. And there are still so many more places to go!
